Biography
Born in 1946 in Brooklyn, he is known for his sharp portraits of people in the streets including those in New York. He made a poignant series about one of the consequences of the 2008 financial crash: expropriation in Florida.
His images are collected by the largest museums (MOMA New York, Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography, Elysee Museum, National Contemporary Art Fund of Paris).
