Born in 1946 in Brooklyn, he is known for his sharp portraits of people in the streets including those in New York. He made a poignant series about one of the consequences of the 2008 financial crash: expropriation in Florida.
His images are collected by the largest museums (MOMA New York, Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography, Elysee Museum, National Contemporary Art Fund of Paris).

Exhibition in partnership with Magnum Gallery.
